When you walk into Friends School of Wilmington, you feel at home at school. Our open spaces, our engaged students, and our welcoming community all reach out to let you know that you have come to a unique place to learn. FSW’s vigorous academic program and integrated art, music, PE, and Spanish enrichments teach children to think critically, work collaboratively, communicate confidently, and solve problems creatively. The Quaker principles of integrity, equality, community, simplicity, and peace guide our school’s daily life.
Accredited by SAIS, Friends School serves children 18 months of age through eighth grade from a broad range of backgrounds. Our students reflect our area's ethnic, economic, and social diversity and are supported by Friends School’s generous financial aid awards. The school is located on two beautiful campuses in Wilmington both of which are used as outdoor classrooms on a daily basis.
After dipping into our website, I hope you will visit us in person, see teachers and students in action, and talk with us about your hopes and dreams for your child’s education. A warm welcome awaits you at Friends School of Wilmington!
