What is SoFE?

SOFE is a friendraising effort, showcasing the diverse talents and interests of the Friends community and making connections between families—while raising funds for special projects that benefit our students. Now in its 5th year, the best 2011-12 SoFE season is underway!

What’s Involved in Hosting a SoFE Event?

• Select event theme based on a hobby or interest you'd like to share. It can be for kids, adults or both, scheduled late fall through end of the school year.

• Select a date

• We promote the event to pre-book your preferred number of attendees.

• We help you communicate event reminders and details to your guests.

• Costs incurred for the event can be submitted to the Development Office for a Friends School gift-in-kind tax acknowledgement letter.

• Event hosts earn free attendance to an event of their choice (as available).

Attending an Event

• Events details are posted in the front lobbies of both campuses and will be communicated by email and flyers will be sent home. When you see our upcoming events, be prepared to register quickly as spots are limited.

• We add new events through the year, so it’s never too late to host your own!

• Event registration forms will be available in the front lobby of both campuses or email sofeevents@yahoo.com to reserve your spot.
