SOFE is a PTO community building initiative that makes connections through the diverse interests that abound at FSW. Many events are free while some are friendraising efforts, with 100% of funds directed to classroom and equipment needs prioritized by our teachers and students.

We're here to help with planning, organizing co-hosts and arranging venues and dates.

Have a special interest, skill or great social idea? SOFE thrives on events hosted by FSW parents and grandparents -  often several families will co-host. Child, parent or family events welcome. Past events have included: thematic dinner parties, boat and beach outings, nature adventures, yoga, hula, educational seminars, golf tournaments, mom or dads' night out, family photography, jewelry making, drama classes, wine tasting, dog training, painting, karaoke and more.

We're looking for parents to help with event ideation and coordination - light in commitment, heavy in fun!

SOLD OUT! Dad & Child Masonboro Camping   Saturday, June 1 2pm - Sunday mid-morning     $75/family

Celebrate the end of the school year by taking your kid(s) camping. Enjoy a boat ride, swimming and beach play, followed by wieners, s’mores and ghost tales.  All you need is camping gear, lifejackets, sunscreen, bug spray and a sense of adventure. Due to boat capacity, space is limited to 7 families - reserve quickly! If you have a boat and want to join as a host, please let us know.
