$30,000 for 30 Years -- A Tremendous Giving Tuesday!
As we reflect on this year’s Giving Tuesday, we are filled with profound gratitude for every single one of you who came together to make it such a resounding success. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $33,000 from 171 donations by 157 unique donors. Every class, from our 2-year-old Stepping Stones to our graduating 8th graders, reached at least 50% participation—an incredible testament to the strength and spirit of this community.
We are deeply grateful for the range of supporters who joined us: alumni spanning decades, longtime parents who continue to champion our mission, new families eager to make an impact, and old friends who remain steadfast in their belief in FSW. Together, you have shown what it means to be part of something bigger—a community united by shared values and a commitment to making a difference.
We’d also like to celebrate the leadership and creativity that inspired this remarkable day. From teachers who shared their reflections to class parents who eagerly helped spread the word, every effort amplified the energy and spirit of Giving Tuesday.
Your gifts honor not only the past 30 years of Friends School of Wilmington but also the bright future ahead. They ensure that we can continue to nurture curiosity, foster connection, and inspire a love of learning for generations to come.
Thank you for believing in our mission, for supporting our students, and for celebrating 30 years of FSW with such generosity and heart. Together, we are building something truly extraordinary.
With deepest appreciation,
Rachel Presley
Director of Development & Marketing
