Friends, it’s been an electrifying season for our Science Olympians, with both Division A and Division B teams dominating at regionals! From junior varsity newcomers to seasoned middle school competitors, our students showcased resilience, teamwork, and sheer brainpower—bringing home a staggering number of medals and top finishes!
Middle School (Division B) Heads to the State Tournament!
At the Wilmington Regional Science Olympiad, our Middle School Varsity team crushed the competition with an impressive 15 medals across 18 events—including 8 podium finishes! Against 25 area schools, they soared to an overall 3rd place finish, securing a coveted spot at the North Carolina State Tournament!

From analyzing crime scenes to engineering wind power solutions, our students proved that science is an adventure worth taking. Their enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and love of learning were on full display, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Division A Elementary Scientists Dominate New Hanover County Regional!
Meanwhile, at Eugene Ashley High School, our youngest Olympians (Division A) took the New Hanover County Regional Tournament by storm, earning multiple gold medals, a trophy, and an overall 2nd place finish for Junior Varsity!
