FSW Receives Grant from Cape Fear Garden Club

Thanks to the generosity of Cape Fear Garden Club and the leadership of Karen Linehan, Environmental Education Coordinator, and Sarah McIntosh, Parent Association Co-Clerk, Friends School of Wilmington recently received a $4,000 grant to bolster our Native Plants Initiative around campus. Karen and Sarah attended the annual grant disbursement event at the Cape Fear Country Club, alongside 20 other non-profits and local schools, like Cameron Art Museum, Good Shepherd Center, and the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society. We are so incredibly fortunate to have Karen and Sarah as our in-house naturalists to guide our school community's environmentalism efforts!
