Dear Friends,

What a joy it was to celebrate our 8th graders at graduation on Friday. We are so proud of this remarkable group of students and all they have contributed to our school community. They leave us with memories, laughter, kindness, curiosity, and more than a few unforgettable moments along the way.

As they head off to high school, we wish each of them and their families the very best of fortune. May their next chapter be full of growth, friendship, confidence, and discovery. And please remember that once you are part of this community, you are always part of this community. Stay in touch, come back to visit, and let us know all the great things ahead.

As we close this school year, I want to offer my deepest gratitude to everyone in our community for the many ways you have supported one another and supported the school. This year has asked much of us, and through it all, our teachers and staff have worked tirelessly with care, devotion, and heart. They deserve a truly restful and well-earned summer break, and I hope you will join me in thanking them for all they have given.

I also want to acknowledge that summer does not look the same for everyone. For some families it means travel, long days at the beach, and time to slow down. For other families, it means work, caregiving, changing routines, and very little time away. As we move through the summer months, I hope we can hold that awareness gently and think of classmates, colleagues, and other members of our broader community who might especially appreciate a kind check-in, a shared cup of coffee, or a day at the beach when the chance arises.

May this summer bring each of you moments of rest, joy, and connection. And may we all keep faith in the future, trusting that even through difficult seasons, we are being shaped for something stronger, wiser, and more hopeful ahead.
