Friends School of Wilmington will celebrate the opening of Longleaf
Center for Environmental Learning at a ribbon-cutting event on Friday, October 14, at
8:30 – 10:00 AM. This celebration at the school will feature community singing, trail
exploration, and student-led learning stations. Attendees will have the opportunity to
support Longleaf Center programs with donations of any amount. Each donor may
select an eco-friendly ribbon to tie around a tree of their choice to represent an act of
conservation.
