Head of School Search Information

8th Grade Baccalaureate at the EEC

This is our final whole school meeting for worship for the year. We honor our soon-to-be graduates, hold a brief MFW, and the whole faculty performs a skit or song that we’ve created in honor of the graduating class.

Blackbird Fund Scholarship for Belonging

This scholarship was established to provide a progressive independent education and membership in a welcoming school community to a student who identifies as LGBTQIA. Friends School of Wilmington values diversity in our student body, faculty, and staff. We understand that diversity provides benefits to everyone at our school. We are proud to support the LGBTQIA community and we are dedicated to providing a welcoming and affirming community for all of our students and families.

Online Auction

The online Spring Auction will open May 20th and bidding will end at 4:00pm on Tuesday, May 24.

Earth Day Celebration - April 22nd

On Friday, April 22nd we will celebrate Earth Day on the FSW Campus. We are excited to welcome Susanna and Timmy Abell for two performances under the tent at our Environmental Education Center property. They will perform two shows - one for PK-2nd Grade from 9:00-9:50am and one for 3rd - 8th Grade from 10:15 - 11:05am. You are invited to join us for what will be a memorable performance!

GrandFriends Day is April 14th

We are excited to welcome GrandFriends back to campus in-person this year! We hope to see you for a day of classroom visits and student performances.

Quaker School Quest - March 28th - April 8th

Our virtual trip north to "visit" six other Friends schools begins Monday, March 28th. Register your family today and get ready to get outside, get moving, and log your miles as we make our way to Maine and the Friends School of Portland - all in support of the FSW Annual Fund.
