Meet Karen Linehan

 

Karen joined the faculty at Friends School of Wilmington in 2003 and taught first and second grades for 18 years. She began her role as Environmental Education Coordinator in 2021. Karen received a BA in Zoology from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chatham University. She is a NC Certified Environmental Educator and was selected as a 2014 Trailblazing Teacher by The Center for Green Schools.
