Meet Karrie Jo Manson

Karrie was born and raised in Greensboro with family roots in Pleasant Garden. She is a Guilford College graduate and has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The College of New Jersey. Following her years as a family therapist in Bucks County, PA, Karrie Jo worked as Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Engagement at Guilford College. She is currently the Development Director at the Piedmont Land Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting land to help ensure clean water for our communities, habitat for our wildlife, locally grown food, parks and trails, and other places for people to connect with nature. In addition to meeting people and hearing their stories, Karrie Jo loves hiking and exploring, hanging out with dogs and horses, playing tennis and spending time with her adult children, Julia and Joseph.
