Meet Lindsey McCoy

Lindsey McCoy joined the Board in 2017. She, her husband Matt, and son Griffin Frye, moved to Wilmington in 2015 from the Bahamas. There she served as the Executive Director of environmental nonprofits and a nonprofit consultant. She is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Plaine Products, a personal care company that is working to eliminate single-use plastic from the bathroom. Lindsey has a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University and is a board member of the Plastic Ocean Project, Friends of the Environment and active in the Citizen’s Climate Lobby.  Frye graduated from Friends School in 2021.
