Meet Cara Stretch

 

Cara's family joined the FSW community in 2020 when her son entered the lower school. She grew up in Baltimore, MD where she attended Quaker Meeting and participated in Quaker youth group activities. A passion for every human having access to everything they need to live a full life has driven Cara's career in nonprofit work. She's helped individuals create and sustain housing situations, advocated for fair consumer laws as well as worked to ensure equitable access to fresh, healthy food. Currently, she works for Cape Fear Collective as their director of programs. Cara joined the Board of Trustees in 2022.
