Amy McGlinn
Amy earned her MS in Art Education from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her BS in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children from New York State University. Previously, she taught K–5 Art in Wake County at Olive Chapel Elementary and 2-3 year olds in a Raleigh preschool. Amy joined FSW in 2011. Amy was a member of the Friends Council Leadership Institute's 2017-19 cohort and began her current role as Middle School Director in 2020. |

Tracy Tertzagian Physical Education Teacher (PreK - 8th) Tracy received her Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from High Point University. In addition to her experience as a preschool teacher, she has coached youth volleyball, soccer, golf, and basketball teams. Tracy joined the faculty at FSW in 2004. |

Sheri Lumpkin Lower School Art Teacher (PreK - 5th) Sheri earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from East Carolina University. After assisting in the Sandpiper classroom for two years, Sheri stepped into the role of PK-2nd Grade Art Teacher in 2014. |

Certified to teach Music, K-12, Anna graduated from Meredith College and continued her post-graduate work at UNC-Greensboro and UNC-Charlotte. She is trained in Orff Pedagogy and incorporates Mindfulness practices into her teaching methods. Anna joined the Friends School faculty in 2015. |

Mignelly Brantley
Spanish Teacher (PreK - 8th) Nelly joined the Friends School community in 2020 to proctor MS Spanish and math classes. She previously taught K-8 Spanish at Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School (Erie PA). Nelly has an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies and a BA in Political Science. Originally from Puerto Rico, Nelly brings experiential knowledge of its culture and heritage to our FSW community. |
