Every day is a new adventure for your little explorer! We’ll journey through imaginary jungles, climb faraway mountains, and search for hidden treasures. One day, we might build a mini campsite and discover the wonders of the great outdoors; another, we’ll craft pirate hats, hoist a flag, and set sail for Treasure Island. Along the way, campers will uncover hidden surprises, tackle fun challenges, and let their imaginations run wild in a week filled with discovery and play.This camp features a small group size in a Montessori classroom, with plenty of time for free play and outdoor exploration

Animals are incredible builders, crafting homes and structures from materials like sticks, mud, tree bark, silk, and even spit! In this camp--alongside FSW teachers and environmentalists Karen and Julie--we’ll explore some of nature’s most amazing architects and create our own inspired works of art. The week also includes a special outing on the FSW school van to a local natural area for hands-on exploration and inspiration.

Get ready to roar, swim, and swing your way through a week of animal fun! Each day, we’ll dive into a different animal habitat—like the jungle, the ocean, or the farm—using hands-on crafts, outdoor play, and sensory activities to bring these worlds to life. One day, we might create colorful bird masks and practice flying like parrots, while another, we’ll wade into an ocean with water tables to discover playful sea creatures. This camp features a small group size in a Montessori classroom, with plenty of time for free play and outdoor exploration.

Unleash your creativity and find inspiration in nature during this unique outdoor art experience. Led by Middle School art teacher Amy, this camp blends the beauty of the natural world with artistic exploration. Campers will experiment with various mediums such as painting, sketching, and working with natural materials; explore campus's outdoor spaces as both studio and inspiration; and create unique, nature-inspired projects to take home. Perfect for young artists who love to imagine, create, and connect with the outdoors!

Led by FSW parent alum and acclaimed artist Brooks Koff, students will dive into the world of art by exploring famous artists like Picasso, Matisse, and Van Gogh. They’ll experiment with acrylics, watercolors, collage, and sculpture using found objects and recycled materials. Activities may include tie-dye or batik techniques and exploring different printmaking methods. Projects range painting self-portraits on canvas, building art “robots” from found objects to designing “monster” pillows, creating faux stained glass window art, and learning mono-printing. With so many creative possibilities, this camp is perfect for young artists ready to explore and experiment.

Discover the exciting world of broadcast journalism and unleash your storytelling potential! In this camp, students will dive into the essentials of news reporting, storytelling, and multimedia communication. Whether you see yourself in front of the camera or behind the scenes, you’ll learn skills like researching and writing compelling scripts, developing on-camera confidence, and crafting engaging stories. By the end of the camp, students will have the chance to showcase their work and experience the thrill of broadcasting firsthand

Welcome to Eco-Explorers, where campers embark on a magical gardening adventure! This outdoor camp is perfect for budding green thumbs and nature lovers. In our vibrant garden, children will get their hands dirty sowing seeds, caring for plants, and exploring the wonders of nature. Campers will explore different hand-building techniques like rolling coils, shaping slabs, and pinching pots to make their own bowls, mugs, sculptures, and more. With plenty of room for creativity and expression, this camp offers the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty, experiment with different textures and forms, and take home unique, handcrafted pottery! This camp is taught by FSW alum and A Little Twisted Pottery Studio owner Emma Brinkley.

Highlights include building a life-sized cardboard castle, mixing magical potions, creating fairy houses from natural materials, and designing superhero capes. Each day features guided crafts, active play, story time, and a chance to let your imagination come to life. This camp features a small group size in a Montessori classroom, with plenty of time for free play and outdoor exploration.

Do you love building with Legos and want to create your own designs? This camp is perfect for budding builders who want to learn how to design and construct their own Lego models. Campers will develop their creativity and build an engineering mindset through hands-on experience with a variety of Lego sets. They’ll also learn techniques for creating sturdy and intricate designs while honing their problem-solving skills. No prior experience is needed—just bring your love of Legos and a willingness to explore and experiment!

Get ready to dive into a world of creativity, color, and fun! Messy Art Camp is all about exploring art with no limits and no fear of making a mess. Guided by Middle School art teacher Amy, this camp is perfect for kids who love to experiment and express themselves through art. Campers will explore hands-on projects like splatter painting, clay sculpting, and printmaking; experiment with unconventional materials and techniques; and create bold, one-of-a-kind masterpieces. This camp is designed to let imaginations run wild and celebrate the joy of artistic expression. Here, the messier the project, the better!

Have you ever dreamed of being a photographer? Here’s your chance! In this camp, you’ll learn the basics of photography, exploring everything from composition to lighting and other key techniques that professionals use to capture stunning images. Campers will practice their skills by photographing around campus, taking nature tours, and even creating photo projects for local businesses. It’s a fun, hands-on way to discover the art of photography and bring your creative vision to life

Beep, boop, beep! Dive into the exciting world of robotics in our Robotics Camp! Using SmartKiddo robots, campers will explore engineering, coding, and problem-solving while designing programs that bring their robots to life. From making robots move to helping them interact with their environment, this camp is all about creativity and hands-on learning. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a passion for innovation. Get ready for a fun and inspiring journey into the possibilities of technology and robotics!

Soccer Shots' nationally acclaimed program uses fun and imaginative games to teach basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Each day, instructors will also focus on a positive character trait—such as respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship—to help nurture well-rounded athletes and children.

Experience the magic of the potter’s wheel at our Wheel-Throwing Pottery camp! This camp is perfect for budding artists eager to learn the art of shaping clay on the wheel. Campers will receive hands-on instruction to create everything from bowls to mugs to vases, all while mastering key wheel-throwing techniques. Whether they’re new to pottery or looking to refine their skills, campers will have plenty of time to practice, experiment, and develop their craft. By the end of the camp, they'll leave with one-of-a-kind pieces they’ve shaped and created themselves! This camp is taught by FSW alum and A Little Twisted Pottery Studio owner Emma Brinkley.
